Sally Sharrock, M.A., LMFT

About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC # 40436) with a Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University (California) and a Bachelor’s of Science (BSc. Hons) in Psychology from Goldsmiths College, University of London (England). I have postgraduate training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and received a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis (SFCP) a highly respected postgraduate training facility. I regularly participate in ongoing training and classes.

I work in a sensitive manner, creating an environment of trust, reliability, and caring; as well as bringing curiosity, and respect for who you are. I treat you, as a whole person, I don't generically treat conditions and symptoms. I work with individuals and couples on a wide range of life issues and difficulties with relationships, intimacy, mood, self esteem, anxiety, worry, stress, trauma, loneliness, and interpersonal struggles. 

In therapy, I'll work to create a safe and confidential space so that confusing feelings can be understood and troublesome patterns that may be interfering with your ability to enjoy your life, work, and satisfying relationships can be changed.
